Education Background
Dr. Scott holds a doctorate in Education with research emphasis on race and gender in leadership from Northern Illinois University and a master’s degree in Counseling and a bachelor's in Psychology both from Southern Illinois University. Her theoretical underpinnings and delivery methods are grounded in Appreciative Inquiry, Black Feminist Thought, Critical Consciousness, Equity-Mindedness, the CTFAR coaching model, Intersectionality, Positive Psychology, and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC).
